Rule Changes:

  1. May 30, 2007 -
    May 30, 2007

Please add the following to your Rule Book.

We have redesigned the Intercept function to more accurately reflect
the difficulty in getting an entire group to move to the unknown
location of a target group considering the range of movement
directions, terrain obstacles, and distances potentially involved.
In addition to the kingdom based range requirement that exists, there
must now also exist a path to the target that meets certain criteria:
there must be a path that is unobstructed by sea areas (unless a
    dragon kingdom is intercepting), and
there must be a path that places the intercepting group closer to the
target with each area moved to, and
there must be a path that limits the group’s movement to the maximum
movement costs available (including force marching and its
    penalties), but
the chosen path will utilize the most efficient path to the target
    based on kingdom movement costs

In addition to these changes, a 735 Pursue Group order has been
added. The order works exactly as the 731 Pursue order, except that
it will allow a group to have a chance to pursue a group that has
successfully intercepted another group. Order 735 functions exactly
as 731 – it is just later in the sequence of events. All columns
should be completed as for the 731 order.

Keep in mind that if Group A is ordered to intercept Group B which is
ordered to intercept Group C, several different results could occur
even if all groups are within intercept range of one another
depending on the order in which the intercepts are completed. If
Group A’s intercept completes first, they will be at Group B’s
starting area. Group B might then complete it’s intercept and leave
that area to move to Group C’s ending area. Group A would have
successfully intercepted Group B, but not be in the same area as that
force at the end of movement. This reflects the nature of the
difficult movement maneuver and the manner in which orders are
    processed.
  2. March 8, 2007 -
    New Order
    #495 EMERGENCY CAPITAL
In the event that a king believes his Capital may be threatened
(captured or destroyed), this order may be issued to name a primary
and secondary potential Capital location, as the King would prefer.
As with Order-355 any PC listed must be owned and have no non-allied
group in the area, etc. Should either of the listed PC location not
be available, for any reason, the new Capital will relocate to the PC
with the highest defense that qualifies. As with any Standing Order
(if so chosen) the costs will be incurred each turn. This is not
counted as a sole king order.

    	Column A – Primary location
Column B – Secondary location (if desired)
Resource Cost – 1,500 Gold and 2,000 Food

  3. January 24, 2007 -
Changes to Orders-945 (ASSASSINATE FOREIGN HERO OR WIZARD) and 960
(steal artifact) when the target is an artifact in possession of a
group or a group figure. we will now be able to better reflect the
time and range for agents to carry out these orders.

the target group must still be within 10 areas of the agent/fanatic's
base, and also within five (5) areas of a designated starting area
from which the agent/fanatic will begin his search for the target
group. the adjusted orders will require a location 9area) for the
targeted group (enter in column "e") and linit the effective range of
any agent/fanatic to five (5) areas from that location as well as the
previous requirement that the target group be within that
    agent/fanatic's normal 10 area range.

Should Column "e" be left blank, or be an area more than 10 areas
from his current location, the starting area will be the
agent/fanatic's current location, effectively making his range 5
    areas for this order.

groups in ambush will continue to be protected from these orders
unless Column "E" is the group's exact area, then the attempt will be
made as previously executed. As always, group invisibility will
preclude these orders from being successful.
  4. January 21, 2007 -
    ADDITION TO ORDER-430, EXECUTE PRISONERS:

It is now possible to place an "E" in Column "C" to execute all
    declared enemies.
  5. January 12, 2007 -
    01/12/07 EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
    >
    > AN ADDITIONAL OPTION IS AVAILABLE FOR ORDER #430 – EXECUTE PRISONERS
    >
    > COLUMN C CAN BE COMPLETED WITH AN 'N' TO EXECUTE ALL PRISONERS OF
ALL KINGDOMS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN DECLARED AN ALLY.
    >
    > LIKEWISE COLUMN C CAN BE COMPLETED WITH AN 'A' TO EXECUTE ALL
PRISONERS OF ALL KINGDOMS THAT HAVE BEEN DECLARED AN ALLY.
    >
    > ENTERING A VALUE OTHER THAN 'N' OR 'A' IN COLUMN C WILL
    INVALIDATE THE ORDER.
    >
    > LEAVING COLUMN C BLANK WILL EXECUTE THE ORDER ACCORDING TO THE
    PREVIOUS PARAMETERS.
